Keep restarting the tournament until the Regatta Is near the front so you don’t need to do as many races) course order is somewhat random, although Regatta is usually near the end). The only map I could do this was the Redneck Regatta (Its one of the races in the tournament). After play until you get the required total of combined points and play with a power up and then….Plat. There is also a trophy for beating one of your high scores so you may just want to do poorly on one and then replay it. Don’t even need to buy any power ups until you are finished. You want to finish each one without using a power up. The final step is to do the galleries also under minigames. Try to avoid opponents on straight-aways, it never works out they seems stronger then you somehow and will push you off course. It is helpful sometimes on tight turns to bump into others and use it to change direction and knock them a bit off course although it takes some practice. Even the slightest bump against a dirt mound or something virtually brings you to a stop.
I found it better to do this then to try to make some tight turns and ease off accel like in other racers Then only tap to switch directions and try to make straight lines as much as possible. What I found was best was to hold down R2 and keep my finger off the steering. The biggest trick is to be aware that your acceleration is MUCH greater if you are going perfectly straight. In this mode you also want to get the trophies for finishing a race backwards, leaping over an opponent and not hitting an opponent if you did not get them in the story mode races. If you are not going to win then pause and restart the race, you will not have to start the tournament over and you will not void the trophy.
Here you want to make sure to win EVERY RACE not just the tournament. The next step is the hover boat racing tournament under minigames from the main menu. IMPORTANTbefore you start the mission The Contest I suggest backing up your save!!!!! You just need to do this for the They All Stink trophy. This is the last fishing mission and there are no specific story missions trophies. You only have to play the story up to the missions The Contest. During this step you also will want to get the random shooting trophies although most will come natural there are technically missable ones. Do collect any frogs you come across though as they will just respawn in the same spots every time you reload the game and so you don’t need to go to all the locations. Also I suggest not collecting any signs or treasures until you go for the Hoarder trophy as there is no way to keep track in game of which you have found. Play up to the first fishing spot as it is a good idea to get the trophies for 5 perfect casts in a row and 3 hooks in a row in this spot. Step 1: Story Mode Only Up to the mission "The Contest"įor this step start out on story mode and make sure to keep track of the fish you catch for the they all stink trophy. IT IS REALLY GLITCHY AND DO AS I SAY TO HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF UNLOCKING IT. WARNING BEFORE YOU START READ ABOUT THE THEY ALL STINK TROPHY.
The only real complaint I had was the glitched trophy “They All Stink” but I think I figured out how to get it to pop. Overall I enjoyed the game much more than I expected and the cut scenes are actually pretty amusing. There are also hover boat races and a few super easy stealth missions to mix things up. The game very much resembles the Cabela’s games but has you hunting ducks and squirrels to eat and killing evil beavers.
I was actually surprised they made a game from an A and E TV series but here it is, Duck Dynasty.
Number of Playthroughs: 1 Story, 1 race tournament, 1 of each shooting gallery Missable Trophies: Mainly They All Stink, Technically several but most are hard to miss.
